Artificial Intelligence in Medicine: Transforming Healthcare Through Technology (AIMTech)

Description:

AIMTech is an interdisciplinary Blended Intensive Program that explores how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming modern healthcare. Through a combination of online learning and hands-on workshops, participants gain a practical understanding of AI methodologies—machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and computer vision—and their applications in diagnostics, precision medicine, and clinical decision support.

 

Students will also address the ethical, legal, and regulatory dimensions of AI deployment in medicine, working collaboratively across disciplines to design responsible and innovative AI-driven healthcare solutions.

 

Learning Outcomes:

 

• Understand fundamental AI concepts and their role in healthcare.

• Apply AI tools for medical, imaging, and genomic data analysis.

• Evaluate ethical and legal aspects of AI in clinical practice.

• Develop interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation skills.
